Jumpa’s Joyous Journey
A Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) Story and Play Program
Helping children build calm, focus, emotional regulation, and joy through movement, play, and storytelling.
Jumpa’s Joyous Journey is a gentle, experiential 9-week online program designed for educators working with young children (K–3). Rooted in play, imagination, and embodied learning, the program supports children in regulating their bodies, connecting with others, and rediscovering joy as a foundation for learning.
Why Jumpa’s Joyous Journey
Today’s children are navigating increasing levels of stimulation, stress, and emotional overload. Before learning can happen, children need to feel safe, grounded, and connected in their bodies.
Jumpa’s Joyous Journey addresses this need by offering simple, playful practices that:
-
-
- calm the nervous system
- build emotional awareness and regulation
- support focus and readiness to learn
- strengthen connection and empathy
-
Rather than adding more content to an already full curriculum, this program strengthens the inner capacities that make learning, relationships, and well-being possible.
What is Jumpa’s Joyous Journey?
Jumpa’s Joyous Journey is a story-based SEL experience where children learn through:
-
-
- movement and embodied play
- imaginative storytelling
- rhythm, pause, and presence
- joyful exploration and connection
-
The program is designed to meet children where they are — emotionally, physically, and developmentally — and guide them gently toward self-regulation and inner balance.
